As National Manager, I lead the SeaChoice partnership between David Suzuki Foundation, Ecology Action Centre, and Living Oceans Society. I collaborate with stakeholders to advance the program’s goals and strategize its next phase of work. I am passionate about sustainable and ethically sourced seafood and am excited to work towards SeaChoice’s vision for leadership in seafood production and procurement in Canada.
Previously, I served as Fair Trade USA’s Senior Producer Services Manager where I oversaw operations for the first socioeconomic and environmental seafood certification program in the world. I managed an international team to improve the lives of over 8,000 fishers and processing workers in four continents with the goal of creating more transparency and economic equity in global supply chains. Beyond my experience in seafood, I have worked in non-profit program management, fundraising, and communications for over a decade. I hold a BA from Middlebury College in Chinese Language and Literature.
